1. 3+ years webpage design experience in internet-related projects.
2. Have solid understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills/ great technical know-how.
3. Post-secondary education in website design, graphic design or related field.
4. Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, including user interface design principles, industry standards and trends, and platform standards.
5. Process-oriented with ability to work with different UI materials.
6. Experience with screen layout and visual design.
7. Proficiency with graphics software programs (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.).
8. Good knowledge of HTML/CSS coding practices.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups.
10. Innovative, creative problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy.
11. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
12. Must have an ability to work in both a team setting and individually.
